Ira Loves Mae (formerly Red Rover Kids) was born out of a desire to make our lives easier. We noticed that although our children had loads and loads of clothing, we only dressed them in a handful of favorites. Over and over again we reached for clothing that was simple, beautiful and made from soft fabrics. It wasn’t long until we realized our kids didn’t need a lot of clothes. Instead, a few quality pieces in simple, go-anywhere styles would allow for a minimal wardrobe we both could love.
Our mission is to keep your family centered around the moments that matter most. Less buying, less washing. Giving you more time to soak up the moments of everyday family life.
It would be an honor to see our products in your beautiful life. Please tag us on Instagram @iralovesmae
Meet the Team
Brittney, Founder and Owner
Hi! I'm Brittney! I'm the founder and owner of Ira Loves Mae (formerly Red Rover Kids). I live in Utah with my husband and 4 little kids. We didn't grow up in Utah, but making a home for our little family in this new state has made it feel more like home than any other place we've been.
If I have one goal in life it is that my family has no doubts about the love I have for them. When I was younger, I always thought happiness came from accumulating all the things. As I've grown up and had a family of my own, I've learned that happiness lies in the relationships we have. My people are my everything.
My family is happiest when we have space and time to enjoy each other. We love keeping life simple so that we can spend more of our time and resources on making memories.
As my children have grown, I've realized there aren't a lot of clothing options for families that like to keep things simple. I just wanted simple, beautiful clothing for my kids that didn't break the bank but held up to an active childhood. And so Ira Loves Mae was born.
Thanks so much for joining me on this journey!
Carli, Creative Director
Hello! My name is Carli. When my husband and I were first married, we were always going somewhere and doing something fun. As we’ve had children, we’ve tried to not let craziness of being parents stop us from doing the fun things we were used to. Now that we have three children, there are always plenty of reasons to turn the volume down on the adventure and stay home where it is safe. But that’s not what we’ve wanted to do.
Being a parent for me has been hard. It demands so much of my time and energy that it can easily become a test of endurance. There are moments that are far from the adventure I hoped it would be.
I'm quickly learning the importance of simplicity in everything. As I’ve tried to make my life more simple, I find that I have more time to do the things with my family that I want to do and I enjoy being a mom more. Its the simplicity that allows me to focus on the things that really matter.
I’ve found that I look for that in the way I dress my family. I look for things that are attractive, simple, affordable, and durable. Buying clothes and dressing my family should be simple.
That’s what I’ve loved about Ira Loves Mae...and I’m excited to be a part of the process in maintaining the beauty and simplicity of our children's clothing.
Haley, Bow Maker
Hi! I'm Haley! I live in Washington with my husband and three kids. I love spending time with my family. Whether its reading books out loud to my kids or going on a family adventure, I just love being with the ones I love.
I really love the simple pleasures in life. The peace and comfort I get from reading the scriptures, a clean and organized home (even though it never truly stays that way), working along side my husband and children, working in my tiny garden (even though it isn't perfect, I just love when I get a chance to be outside and work with my hands in the soil. I love to be around other women and am constantly uplifted by their stories of life and experiences.
And of course, I love to sew. I love everything about sewing. I love the feeling of pushing the pedal, and the sound the machine makes. I love to watch the thread stitch things together. I love creating something beautiful out of something so simple. Knowing that there are little girls around the world wearing something I made brings me joy.
